What a precious sweetie pie. Paizley’s mama wanted to do photos to send out Valentine’s Day cards (in lieu of Christmas cards this year). We put together the CUTEST card- it was pretty easy, considering we had this adorable little one to work with. She was a SO good… especially considering we took these nakey shots in February. Only in Vegas, during a Winter like this is that even possible. So fun. Here are my favorites. <3

Stella is such a fun baby! She led us on a fantastic tour of Old Town Sacramento, taking special care to make sure we played on every set of “steps!”. We were all exhausted by the end- in fact she crashed out on the car ride home. Stella’s such a good balance of adventurous, silly, sweet, girly and mischievous and I can’t get enough of her precious little face. It MELTS me! Here are my favorites from our session. This family told me something that I always hope to hear from clients. “This is fun”. That’s AWESOME for me to hear… see I always have so much fun shooting the sessions, but I worry that it isn’t so fun for my clients. After all, portrait photography most likely isn’t their passion. When they said it was fun and that the time went by really fast, it brought me an ear to ear grin.

The photos included have made my list of very favorites for one reason or another. They are not necessarily the clients’ favorites, nor are they necessarily the most technically sound images… they are there because there was something that drew me. It could be an expression, something about the lighting, or an emotion expressed. They are all chosen for different reasons.
