Kate is “fee” years old. Let me tell you she was ready for this! Mama had talked to her about getting her pictures taken all day long and believe me- when the time came she knew just how to turn on the charm! Some people are just born with it. I had a little trouble getting her to smile, but Mama didn’t. She knew just how to make her laugh. Too cute!





Better watch out mom and dad. I asked Kate to show me a sad face… no hesitation! She’s got it down:

I’ll have to ask my dad to know for sure, but I truly think that my first love for photography emerged when I was about 9. I LOVED to put his camera on the MACRO setting and capture the small, still beauties of this earth. Honestly, I wasn’t sure that I would still love it, now….
Well… I recently upgraded my camera, and Alex, the gentleman who sold it to me generously threw in an extra lens. With that lens, this afternoon, I had a week’s worth of fun in a matter of an hour. Here are the favorites:

Emily graduates from college this spring with her degree in Accounting from UNLV. What a tough field! Emily has worked so hard to get to this mile stone! Not only is she graduating, but she has been hired by the number one accounting firm in the country, already! Wow…. hard work pays off.
