One more shot of Bob and Kari, using a technique I have been working on.  Tell me what you guys think- thumbs up or thumbs down?

Kari and Bob are having a baby in just a few weeks! WOW.  It is so fun for me to see them starting their family. I’ve known them both for a long time.  I knew them both even when they weren’t yet dating!  Kari has been my boss for about 6 years now…  Bob-O and Kari Borra…. Now Mr. and Mrs. Olsen and soon– baby Kailey.

Bob and Kari- You guys are so much fun. I hope you enjoy and remember these last few weeks of this incredible time of your lives. We all can’t wait to meet Kailey. And we can’t wait to see you be a mommy and a daddy.  xoxo

It’s not very often that I am alone. I usually almost ALWAYS want to be with other people.  Family, friends, strangers… all of the above.  Today I felt weird. I kind of wanted to be alone for a little bit. A lot on my mind, I guess…

Anyway, I got some alone time- well, God, my camera and I were all hanging out together. This is what we found.

OMG. Seriously? Are they seriously THIS cute? What a way to start my day… hanging with these little DOLLS.  Man are they busy-bodies! I honestly had to come home and take a nap when we were done, but WHAT FUN!

Kahea and Joe… what a pleasure it was for me to capture these precious moments with you guys. Your children are absolutely adorable.     Your gallery will be up and ready for you to see, soon!

Brittni is a “friend of a friend”… remember Emily?  Brittni is Emily’s friend and we met a few months ago.  She is adorable, and I thought so from the moment I met her.  Last night,  I was working on Emily’s photo order and Emily and I were talking on the phone. I could hear Brittni in the background and she said something profound. Something to the nature of … “I should just do it. How many times do you have an opportunity or an occasion like this to have a good reason to splurge for good photos?!”  And before you know it, we were on the phone booking her photo session. We were a bit rushed to get it in, as she graduates in just a few short weeks and she wants to put the photos in her announcements.  Battling work schedules, wind, and a scrunched time frame, we made it happen!! AND FAST! She is a beautiful girl… as you can see. And she’s got a matching personality.

For those of you who don’t know… this is my wonderful brother and his beautiful wife. We were just there visiting them with the kids this past week. We had a blast! And of course I had to get some shots of them.

Ava will be here soon.   Courtney is almost 7 months pregnant. She is TOTALLY sportin’ that pregnant glow- LOVE IT!

Derek and Courtney- we all can’t wait to meet Ava and I am confident you will be an outstanding team of parents.  Thank you both for letting me photograph you at this special time in your lives.

Stephanie and Drew will be married next May.   Now and again you meet a couple whose chemistry is so perfect. That’s these two. As you will see in the photos, the love they share for each other shines.  I am super happy that you guys have found each other.  I had a great time hanging out with you both- (thanks for the wine!)  I look forward to hanging out more.
