Michelle Class of 2010 | Las Vegas Valley Senior Photographer | urban vision studios

Right when I met Michelle I knew I liked her. First off, she was smiling AND she was wearing a dress and boots. LOVE LOVE LOVE this look. Second, one of the first sentences out of her mouth was “I’m SO NERVOUS”. Why do I like that? Because it means she cares. She knows this is the only time she will ever have senior photos done, and she REALLY wants them to turn out good. It means she’s been thinking about it all day… and guess what- so have I. : )

I don’t think they come any more charmingly sweet than Michelle. On top of the sweetness, she’s been blessed with beautiful long legs and gorgeous chestnut eyes!

Enjoy your last few days of High School, Michelle. Even the exams. Best wishes to you in the fall (I can’t wait to hear how you like Intro to Photography!)

Twins! | Las Vegas Children’s Photographer | urban vision studios

Sometimes, during my sessions,  I have to pinch myself. I am still utterly amazed at the fact that I get to make a living doing something that I enjoy so wholeheartedly. I get to meet wonderful people, and together we create a tangible reminder of their love that they can cherish forever. IT MAKES ME HAPPY. Tonight, I got to meet a very special family. The happy, loving, energy that exudes this family is warm and contagious.

In my next life, I want twins. The only thing sweeter and cuter than a 1 year old, is TWO one year olds. ;) This ADORABLE set of twins couldn’t be any more charming. They are adventurous, tough, happy, and super-dang-cute packages of fun. They sure keep mom and dad on their toes…. at one point, during the photo session, the three of us looked at each other, all of us panting out of breath and shook our heads- it was exhausting!

S family, thanks for sharing some fun with me, and thanks for being such fans.  <3

Enjoy these favorites of mine.

Another day with a sweet newborn baby.  aaaaahhhhhh – makes me happy.

James is 2 weeks and 3 days old. He is SUCH A GOOD BABY. He didn’t care that we kept curling him up and putting him into different props. He let his mama and I have fun with it and we got some adorable shots. : )

Someone is turning 1! | Las Vegas Baby Photographer | urban vision studios

Evan certainly stole my heart today.<3

This little guy will celebrate his first birthday this coming Friday and what a little chunk of cuteness he is. He was SO ADROABLE that there were times that I had to put my camera down and shake my head and compose myself. I could hardly contain myself!  And he was SO GOOD… a total charmer for the camera. I certainly did my share of  “actin’ afool” for him- a girl’s gotta do what a girl’s gotta do. :)

Here is a taste of what we got today. It’s a long one. I had a hard time narrowing it down…

Alexis Grace- 8 days new | Newborn Baby Photographer Las Vegas | Urban Vision Studios

Alexis Grace was born just 8 days ago.  Mama had a bit of a rough pregnancy- spending a lot of it on bed rest. Delivery wasn’t so easy either, but since then, life has been a bowl of cherries. ;)

Alexis was 9 lbs, 8 oz and 22.5 inches long at birth. She is just the perfect little thing. It was super sweet to watch her mommy and daddy with her. They are both glowing with love and gratitude, and enjoying every moment.

Ashley and Benji- she’s perfect. I had a great time with your family today and I am grateful for our new friendship, and am honored that you chose me to capture these moments. Here are a few of my favorites.

p.s. The adorable diaper bag featured in the second photo is a photo made by baby’s auntie Eco. She has a diaper bag and purse company in Ventura, CA called Art Star. You may email her at ecoshu@earthlink.net

Cody Miller | Class of 2010 | Las Vegas Senior Portraits

Cody is a senior, graduating this spring from Palo Verde High School. That is cool… but there are a lot more GREAT things going on in this kid’s life.

It’s not all that common for EXTREME TALENT and UNWAVERING DRIVE and COMMITMENT to collide in one person. Some people have amazing talent, but lack the inspiration to work hard. Others have strong desire and work diligently to achieve goals, but there isn’t enough natural ability to be among the champions.  However, when the whole package is there- incredible things happen.

Cody Miller is in the midst of an incredible swimming career. He has a wall of dozens upon dozens of swimming medals. He is currently a member of the USA Swimming National Youth Travel Team for the 2009-2010 season, competing internationally. He has already gotten experience with the Olympic Qualifiers, in which he qualified to participate in 2008.

Between his on-shore training and his time in the water, Cody averages 25-30 hours a week training. It’s a lot, but for him, it has paid off: His best events are the 100 and 200 breast stroke. He is the current Junior National Long Course Champion in both the 100m and the 200m and he even holds the record in the 15-16 age group 100 Yd Breaststroke and 200 Yd Breaststroke (Dec 2008), he broke Olympian Brendon Hanson’s 10 year records. WOW.

Cody will be attending University of Indiana (Hoosiers) in the Fall on a 5 year full ride scholarship.

Aside from being a stellar, standout athlete, Cody is a down to earth, fun, polite and all around great kid- (sorry ladies, there’s not time for a girlfriend right now). I really enjoyed my time with him in front of my lens and I am excited to watch his future unfold!
