Little Roman Thomas is absolutely precious. He’s a lucky little guy- he’s got a great name, young fun-loving parents, and super-great looks. I can’t wait to watch him grow.
There will be more to come of this little guy, because Daddy was unable to make it to the photo session, and I’ve got some ideas for them!

Jacob Hoyt. Born July 12. 8lbs, 9 oz and 20 inches long. In these photos, Jacob has only had 7 days on this earth.
This little guy has the greatest baby-lips I have ever seen. I just wanna eat ‘em up. He was a SUPER sleeper ; ). These baby sessions are sometimes a struggle- but NOT THIS TIME. He was just peaceful and content the entire time. What a precious little guy. Maybe that means he’s going to be easy going?

Maeghan Lillian. Isn’t that an beautiful name?! I think it suits her just right, too. Maeghan was born on June 23, weighing 7 lbs and 18 inches long. She was the perfect tiny baby-size for my props.
Maeghan is a sweet, soft, cuddly, cutie-pie who is super content to be in mama’s arms. Lucky for mama, she is a GREAT sleeper- sometimes sleeping 5 or 6 hours at a time. I have found myself smiling at her sweet face while I edit her photos.

Baby Seamus (shay’-mus) ….
Let me tell you, there’s was no shortage of love in that backyard yesterday. Two sets of grandparents, and some happy new parents- Seamus has got the life! His daddy created this INCREDIBLE yard for his family to enjoy- and they DO. Complete with hammock, koi pond (with water lilies!!!), beautiful black bottom rock surrounded pool, putting green, fire pit, and flowers galore. “All for Seamus to enjoy”, as he put it. Beautiful.
This lil’ guys mama is an artist. She creates GORGEOUS acrylic paintings, with nature as her subject, and generously gives a portion of her profits to Nature Conservation Charities. Check it out her work: http://www.bkelso.com/

Another day with a sweet newborn baby. aaaaahhhhhh – makes me happy.
James is 2 weeks and 3 days old. He is SUCH A GOOD BABY. He didn’t care that we kept curling him up and putting him into different props. He let his mama and I have fun with it and we got some adorable shots. : )
Here are some favorites of the sweet lil’ guy.
Alexis Grace was born just 8 days ago. Mama had a bit of a rough pregnancy- spending a lot of it on bed rest. Delivery wasn’t so easy either, but since then, life has been a bowl of cherries. 
Alexis was 9 lbs, 8 oz and 22.5 inches long at birth. She is just the perfect little thing. It was super sweet to watch her mommy and daddy with her. They are both glowing with love and gratitude, and enjoying every moment.
Ashley and Benji- she’s perfect. I had a great time with your family today and I am grateful for our new friendship, and am honored that you chose me to capture these moments. Here are a few of my favorites.

Sweet, tiny Ava.
She is 2 weeks old in these pictures. Absolutely precious. Everything about her is tiny (except for her feet and hands- they are the size of a 2 month old!). Look at all that hair- in the pictures you might not be able to tell that she is a newborn, if you didn’t know, because she looks so alert in her awake pictures and she has so much hair! But if you were to see her and hold her, then you would know because she is super tiny.
The props in these photos are from the family…. her grandpa built the rootbeer crate wagon for her grandma over 20 years ago. The small wheel barrel was her cousin Eric’s when he was just a young kid. I was SO EXCITED when I saw the props because they are AWESOME. We got to take a lot of shots. It was difficult to choose which ones to put up for the sneak peek.
Craig and Desi- hope you love them. 
Welcome to the world sweet wittle guy.
Lucas was born on January 21, 2010 and that was 8 weeks early. For those of you not-so-quick at math, he is 7 weeks old today, but really wouldn’t have been born for another week if he had gone his full time in mama’s womb. The miracle of life is incredible. He weighed only 3 lbs 9 oz at birth and had to stay in the NICU for 4 weeks. Amazingly, today he is a strong, healthy, beautiful baby, weighing 7 lbs 13 oz.
Jarad and Jeannine, he is absolutely precious. I think about the complications you had and the roller coaster ride that you must have gone through and it brings tears to my eyes to know how strong and healthy and perfect he is. I know you are grateful every day. <3

Wow. Babies are so amazing. They are even more amazing when they are a part of YOUR family. This is Stella. She is my brand new baby cousin and she’s perfect. She was just two weeks old when we did her session. Stella was the TINYEST little thing. They tell me she weighed 7 lbs 5 oz at birth, but I think they are lying. ; ) Stella makes the sweetest sounds. When she’s awake, she softly coos continuously. It is absolutely precious. And her movements… she is so graceful and gentle.
Jen and Travis, baby’s mama and daddy, live in Sacramento and I was able to head up there to get a session in before her newborn-ness becomes a thing of the past. It was a lot of fun to see them be new parents. They both ADORE her. You will too-
Precious, precious, precious. Tiago is only 5 days old- and what a perfect little piece of heaven he is. Every little tiny part of him is just perfect. If you follow the blog, you may remember Heliz and Tom from their maternity session last month. Well, baby is here! Tom showed me a picture of himself when he was a newborn, and Tiago looks JUST LIKE his picture, but Tiago also looks SO MUCH like his mama too. I can never understand how that works! Two people can look nothing alike, but their children look just like both of them! It really is a marvelous thing.
