SISTER-FRIENDS. <3 | Orange County Children’s Photographer | urban vision studios

I didn’t have a sister growing up. I always wished I did… I now have 3 sister-in-laws and I love each dearly, but I don’t think there’s anyone who can can perfectly fit the spot of a sister. My mother has a sister. She is her very best friend. When I was little, I remember watching my mom and her sister, my aunt, together. I remember thinking that a sister is like a built-in best friend. I remember them as best friends when they were in their 20s and now I see them as best friends in their 50s, the connection still ever-strong.

My very best friend has 3 sisters. Although all of them are quite different from one another, they are SO close and have what I would consider to be an unbreakable bond. When the 4 of them are together, there’s an energy that’s created that is like nothing else. It’s not always fun and games…. I see them bicker, they have disagreements, and sometimes it gets chaotic, but it’s real- and it runs deep. Irreplaceable.

As I got to spend time with these little girls, it was fun to see them play together. They ALL can pull their weight if you know what I mean… each of them with a strong, fun personality of her own. Someday these little girls are going to become women. Between now and then, they will have a TON of life experiences together. Running around with their dad in Huntington Beach will become a distant memory. I hope they will look back on these photos and remember these days with a smile.
